Finally ready to cross the Atlantic…here are some of the things we had to do before we could leave…and one thing almost completely stopped us!

Loved the video, wishing you and Michael all the very best as you set off on new adventures. We will be leaving Cape Town in the not too distant future. Our paths will cross somewhere one day!

Is the name of your boat sailing &Sunshine? Looking forward to meeting you!
At the moment we are on “The Boat With No Name” as Michael bought her from me and we can’t decide what to call her yet !! Need to change the name as it was my late husband’s……new beginnings……

Did we meet you briefly at RCYC? Just looked at your web page and it sounds familiar!
Loved your video of getting ready to cross the open sea! It’s good to see you laughing and enjoying yourself. (Is the “P” on Michael’s hat for “Patrick” and the stripes on his arm the American flag?? ha, ha!) You two just be careful, watch out for each other, and have fun. Love, Ian and Kathy
He says of course the P is for Patrick, he even found it on the beach…something Patrick would do! And he says of course the stripes are for America. Are stripes ever found anywhere else 🙂 Haha…joking of course!n
Hello Rebecca.
Hope all is well with you. I take that internet is far and few between for you right now . looking forward to New blogs as with the past always a pleasure to see what you come up .
Stay safe and enjoy.
It’s been along time since an update? Getting a little worried about you two!
What’s the word? Did you make the crossing?
Hope so!!!
Will hopefully have a update for you next week. Working all this week on the next one 🙂
Dear Rebecca,
Hope all is well with you. Still waiting for a life sign. Take good care of yourself and Brick House. Regards from Belgium
Dear Rebecca, happy to have seen the new video and you made it safe. You will make it! Mourning and the process afte the traumatising period are not to be underestimated. Also I had my share in life. Much love from Belgium
Thanks for your concern…latest video is out…https://youtu.be/x2dfGfLQcQI
Sorry for the long silence…things have been a bit…difficult…
Thanks Mathieu…I see now that you have seen the new video. Guess I should post it on the blog…thanks for the reminder.
You aren’t kidding…this darn mourning thing is taking WAY too long!
Hi Rebecca,
I’m so relieved that you are alive.
I would have added “and well”, but you seem out of sorts and your relationship with Michael has deteriorated.
I’m very sorry to hear that!
Please know that I am rooting for you two, at least through the crossing. You will need each other for that.
You have a tough road ahead of you. Nothing will ever replace Patrick. I can see that you miss him terribly. I do to!
I still can’t believe he’s gone. I watch the videos of him and it seems surreal.
I sure wish I could have seen him again.
You have to hang in there and make that crossing safely.
Once you get stateside you can regroup and decide how you want to move forward.
Please keep me in the loop.
I have been following you for many years now and the story is not over my friend.
Be well, be as happy as you can be and make it home safely!
Your forever Kwaj friend,
Steve
What an incredibly nice comment Steve. We did make it…see the next blog 🙂
