We have quite a few real, bound books onboard, but lately we have been using more and more electronic books (ebooks) and Audiobooks. Each have their place. We love printed books for Cruising guides, and recreational reading, but we only can store so many of them on the boat! We love ebooks for nearly every situation, and Audiobooks for when we are underway, for long boring night watches.
There are a lot of sailing books in both Audiobooks and Ebook formats…and we generally always order from these two stores because of their awards program, and memberships.
Our favorite store to order our most difficult to find, must have cruising guides, other sailing books as well as charts, and much more, is “Bluewater Books and Charts” in Florida!. They ALWAYS have what we need, and can make perfect recommendations for the area we are going to next!
