Starting in January 2018, we started using Predictwind Tracking using the Iridium GO.
NOTE: As of April 2019, the GO was off, but in a week or two I will be departing South Africa with a new Captain onboard…Michael Hayward, a South African man, around my age, with lots of personality, charm. He is already a good friend for several months and the Youtube channel will soon have an update introducing him more than the last few videos have…
I will be activating a new SIM just as we depart, and updates will begin on the PredictWind link…
Til then, you will see where we landed when I shut off the Iridium GO in Hout Bay, last February.
That’s what’s nice about the Predictwind SIM…we can end our contract at any time, pop in a new SIM again when we are ready to use it, and the month is simply prorated!
