Well… that’s a good question… am working on a video now about what the future on Brick House may look like…now that Michael has left the boat….
The video below makes it clear what Michael is doing now…but what about Brick House…now with no captain…or is there?
This is a sad time for me…but a time of vast growth I suppose. It will be a time of standing on my own, taking over my beloved boat as captain instead of first mate…a time to maybe make new sailing friends, a new kind of cruising perhaps…
It will be a time of finding a new kind of living and cruising, and a time to become even more intimate with Brick House than I already am. For example…something I’ve always left to the captain…why does the boat not engage in reverse right away..it’s always been like that. but why? What needs to change? I’ve taken some steps in the last few weeks to explore that…afraid to let a “Professional” step in since everything else works so well..I don’t want something else to break as we fix this. And that seems to be the norm when you hire pros.
Maybe I found someone who can help after I researched the heck out of it and possibly found an answer that I haven’t had for 21 years…..but I will know if this person doesn’t have the right answer and will kick his butt out of the engine room, carefully watching what he does and not letting him harm my boat…I am the captain now…no matter what I shoes to do next…
Be sure to watch this video that Michael so painstakingly made..it’s a true work of art…
The first Michael has done on the channel in almost its entirety ( I have a small part at the end that I added) . It’s so very very good. And told from his point of view… makes me cry every time I watch it.
It like I said…my future is in my hands now completely… and I can’t wait to share with you what I’m doing next…
