How to Repair a Bulkhead On a Sailboat to Support Titanium Chainplates

Patrick rebuilds the starboard bulkhead where the titanium chainplates attach to. He explains a bit about why we upgraded to titanium chainplates when we lost the mast and replaced everything from the chainplates to the mast, and everything that attaches to the mast. He gets to ripping out old tabbing, and doing some fiberglassing, replacing tabbing, and repainting  and installing Formica.

This is part 1 of the process. In a month, he will show you how he finishes the bulkhead and then rebuilds the stereo closet, but he has a more interesting, non “how to“ video coming this week for you, if he can finish it on time..something you don’t hear much about anymore, but is on the increase! Make sure you are subscribed and have the bell on!
